The peaks of Brokeoff Mountain, Mt. Diller, and Pilot Pinnacle shine with afternoon light on fresh October snow. The view is from Childs Meadows off Hwy. 36 in Northeastern California. These mountains are all part of the great volcanic cluster that surround Lassen Peak, and were once part of one complete volcano. Lassen Volcanic National Park
