This barn is the well-known feature of the historic Olsen Ranch in Chester/Lake Almanor, California in the Sierra-Cascade as seen from State Highway 36. Currently in an acquisition fundraiser to take the property off the real estate market and preserve as a public riparian and waterways park and nature reserve. I have lived in Plumas County since 1977. It is a place so steeped in nature and wildlife, that every day, every view, is a photographic opportunity.
