Just east of Chester, California is a summer campground called North Shore Campground, next to the Hwy 36 causeway over the lake. This was taken early one March morning after a light snow.

I have lived in Plumas County since 1977. It is a place so steeped in nature and wildlife, that every day, every view, is a photographic opportunity. Photography captures and freezes moments in time that would otherwise be missed, or compressed by our brains into the daily mash of life.
